Sharing the fun

I thought it would be fun to share any new places we find which we think other quilters might enjoy.  I recently spent a weekend away in the Goldfields Region of Victoria and discovered Habadash.

Paradise for anyone who loves sewing memorabilia, fancy trims, old buttons and some artist designed new buttons too.  There are charming doilies and hand stitched old table cloths.  The shop features a smattering of the most divine handmade lace collars and dazzling beaded hat pins.

Everywhere you look there is something which is beautiful to behold.

It is located in the old Midland Hotel, opposite the Castlemaine RailwayStation in Templeton Street, Castlemaine.  Phone 03 54706476.
