Worlds Biggest Hexagon Quilt

Take part - join in if you like - hexagons need to be received by 1st December.
The Worlds Biggest Hexagon Quilt is underway here in Queensland, Australia.
"About 6 months ago Gail Chalker of Gatton, Queensland, Australia decided to see if she could organise an attempt to make the World's Biggest Hexagon Quilt. Gail is a partner in a Quilt Shop the small country town of Gatton, which is about 1 hour and 15 minutes west of Brisbane, Queensland's capital city. Using her network of friends, students and customers and her links to several yahoo quilt groups, Gail started to spread the word about her interest in attempting to set a world record for Hexagon Quilts. She researched the Guinness Book of Records requirements and decided that this was something which was worth trying to achieve."
Progress so far - it's looking gorgeous
Thanks for the link Simone.
Happy Sewing, Jennifer

Free Motion Quilting

Thank you to Claire, one of our NOTYQ members, for this link.

Leah Day, the owner of the "Free Motion Quilting" Blog has challenged herself to come up with a new free motion filler design every day for a whole year.

Leah has included an image of each design and a video demonstrating how it is achieved. She has also included where her Inspiration came from for the design, the Filler Design Type, Difficulty Level, Directional Texture and Suggestions for Use - it is a fantastic resource.
